Whatcha Working on Wednesday

This week has been busy with C's 3rd grade State project, in between I have gotten a few lil projects done.

I have picked this up at GW and thought it looked alittle dated so I dusted it and spray painted it to match my Rooster.

We (mainly DH) has helped our 3rd grader with her State project and we safely turned it in this morning! Along the way we learned alot about the state of Alabama!

I had this lonely napkin so I stitched and lightly stained it, I have to iron it still but It would look so cute sticking out of a basket.

Gong Out of My Comfort Zone for a Surprise Birthday Party

So yesterday I went out of my comfort zone and drove an hour on a busy Interstate with 3 hungry kids up to G'ma's house for her surprise Birthday party. I NEVER drive anywhere I don't know, I get sweaty hands, rapid heartbeat and feel like I'm going to throw up and often get tears in my eyes, I kid you not!! I had to suck it up though since DH was at work and was going to meet us there. My GPS was broken in the truck so I used the old fashioned writtened out directions and with lots of prayers, I beat DH there! It was a great time with good food and the drive home was better!

G'ma blowing out her candles and my lil Indiana Jones wanna-be, ain't he a

My DH and his mom

Her DH, He was getting

G'ma Terri with her friend Genie and then G'ma Terri with her best friend Rita and my DD

Have you ever had to go out of your comfort zone and then afterwards feel silly?

Where Have I Been Again and Some Struggles

We have been busy joining a Church the last few weeks and last night we had a very nice dinner with the Pastor and his wife.

I'm struggling with how much time I use the computer during the day and my feelings of disapointment of the lack of interest on my bookshelf blog..I'm thinking of deleting it since it take time away from my family to post the books on it.

I'm also struggling with the feelings of having to post something every day, Do many of you feel this way?

I have gone to the Library and checked out some Beverly Lewis books and I'm feeling better about taking time to read, no more Horror books for this gal!

I'll continue to re-evaluate somethings in our life and the kids are on Spring Break starting tomorrow so I'm going to be in and out.

Enjoy Your Week!
