In these trying times with the job market slow and the economy down and families struggling we need someplace to go that share's uplifting stories and how God has worked in our lives. My DH and I are working on a forum that you can share testimonies about God's work and answered prayers. I'm excited about the Women's Corner, so far I have Christian Books but I need your help, please come by and post more! I look forward to hearing your testimonies!

Would You Decorate Around This....

We are looking for a new living room set and saw these on CL...I'm not sure why but I'm LOVING them! Maybe these would fit into the French Country theme? This is going out of my comfort zone since there is no color Blue anywhere on it...

Whatcha think ladies?

Metamorphosis Monday~Monogramed Pic

I took this lil pic which I have had since I was a teenager and after seeing everyone's monogrammed framed pics that I-oh-so-dearly-wanted-but-can't-afford-today..I turned it into this...

It turned out Cute and will sit upon a painted white shelf as soon as the shelf dries. Do I paint the frame or leave it as is...still pondering... It took no money and less then 5 minutes!

I LOVE Please go visit and see what other Ladies are doing at Metamorphosis Monday!

AltarCall Telecom Ministries~Please Spread the Word

My DH has been working so hard to spread the Word! He is now offering his services to Churches. If you know of a Church that might be interested please have them contact Richard at the below address and show them the Website. We have already set this up in our Church and it's great for those Wednesday night services when I'm home with the kids and can't make it in..We listen LIVE over the Phone!

Due to the amazing feedback that I've gotten, after MUCH prayer, and with the Lord's help, AltarCall is now available! You can now listen to LIVE services from YOUR church via a regular telephone!

We can also get your services LIVE on the internet from our website, our YOURS! We can even host your recorded services, too!

All that is required is:

1) A broadband internet connection (and in extreme cases where broadband isn't available, only a single regular phone line).

2) Some type of audio source (usually this comes from an existing sound board, although we can work around it if you don't have one).

3) The belief that Jesus Christ is the son of God, that he died for our sins, and that he rose again (more details on our statement of faith are available on our website).

Other than that, we handle all of the technical aspects of getting your services - both live and recorded if you so choose - available via telephone. We will work with your audio staff (or anyone from your church) to get everything setup with a minimum of difficulty.

We've decided to offer this service on a donation basis so that all churches can benefit from it. It does cost a bit to keep running, so some donation would be nice, but even if you can't afford to donate anything, we'll still make the service available to you. All that we ask are for your prayers for our continued success in being able to help spread the Word of God!!

Please visit our website for more information, and if you would like a demonstration, please call or email me. Contact information is available on our site!

Check out for more information.

Whatcha Working on Wednesday

I'm reading this book and enjoying it, my goal this summer is to read all of Beverly Lewis books, I've printed out her book list and crossing off as I read them.
I'm stitching 7 napkins, tracing this star on each one and stitching...I can't decide what color..Should I do the star in black or Blue..what would go more with everyone's tables? I'll be offering these when I'm finished..Any early buyers?

Yesterday was the last day of school and what are they doing early this morning, Playing school of Boy..It's going to be a long summer!

I won and received my "Buy American" stencil from Folk Art By the Harbor, I'm waiting for payday so I can grab some wood and paint and try my hand at this, She makes Adorable signs! Thanks so Much :)

2 years ago we lived in a much smaller house and everything seems to just fit. Today the rooms are larger and my collections are small...My bedroom has taken on a whole new look with my new comforter, I'm going for a more Old English Inn Horsey that? My kitchen is now filled with white/blue sponge ware and roosters. My living room has a nice collection of Americana growing, which I love and am proud to display! Here is our lil place 2 years ago....

Which is a better place to display pics..Web Shots or Picture Trail? I want to show off my new collections and my hand-stitched crafts.

It was nice going down memory lane on this rainy Wed...Thanks for coming along Friends!
