Going Gluten Free...Have You?

So Richard has been told by his DR to attempt to go Gluten Free due to health reasons.

This has been harder than we thought.

ALDI has their own brand of Gluten Free called "Live G Free" which has been so nice on our grocery budget.

We are trying the Brownies and Cookies this week. The brownies were very chocolatey but a tad powdery. The Chocolate Chip cookies were so tasty, Richard liked them more than the Brownies, hence why there isn't a picture of them!

Do you eat Gluten Free? If so, What are some of your favorite items in the Grocery store?

Fall Kitchen Vignette

Today I was cleaning the kitchen when inspiration struck and I just had to play around with this corner that I was not pleased with.
I like how it's turned out so far

I bought the new Better Homes and Gardens 2014 candle in the Golden Maple Waffles. The scent throw is great cold and during burning it's even stronger which allows us to smell it in the Livingroom!
I had to add my little Hen!

Hope y'all are having a relaxing weekend!

Fall in the Kitchen

Sadly it seems that we've lost a box of my Fall decorations in our move so I'm forced to decorate simply this year. I started this morning with our new Kitchen and had to stop because our little guy is sick with a high fever and stayed home from school, we are snuggling on the couch while Tylonel starts to work.
I'm still loving my hand-made Scarecrow that I made a few years ago in Ohio. He doesn't look to worn from all the moves he's made!

I like how this grouping is going to look together, I just need to find some Sunflowers at my local grocery store. The candle is "Spiced Pumpkin Pie" from Better Homes and Gardens this year.

I'm loving my White table scape this year. The white Pumpkins are from Target and we like to fill them with candy for Halloween.

I also have the large white Pumpkin from Target on our Breakfast bar area.

I will share our living room with you soon as I can, depending on who else gets sick now, ain't it always like this when School starts?
