Clean House~What Do You Use?

I'm restocking the cabinets with Cleaning Supplies since I have used the last of my "Mean Green". Either it's stronger than the last time or I'm starting to get sensitive to the overpowering chemical smell.

What do you use to clean your Bathrooms and House? Do you pick them up at the local store or special order?

Book Worm Friday

The House on Tradd Street
Practical Melanie Middleton hates to admit she can see ghosts. But she’s going to have to accept it. An old man she recently met has died, leaving her his historic Tradd Street home, complete with housekeeper, dog—and a family of ghosts anxious to tell her their secrets.

Enter Jack Trenholm, a gorgeous writer obsessed with unsolved mysteries. He has reason to believe that diamonds from the Confederate Treasury are hidden in the house. So he turns the charm on with Melanie, only to discover he’s the smitten one...

It turns out Jack’s search has caught the attention of a malevolent ghost. Now, Jack and Melanie must unravel a mystery of passion, heartbreak—and even murder.

This was a very fast paced, light read book. It didn't take me long to finish it and I loved the descriptions of the old houses and antiques! I'm happy to see that Karen White is coming out with a 2nd book as I would like to follow Melanie in her Ghostly hunts.

This one is also up for grabs on my Bookshelf page. I have been wondering if I should keep going with my bookshelf or stop, Have you stopped by? DO you buy second hand books?

DH's New Lil Office~His Own Business

My DH is in the process of starting his own business, He needed a place to work other than our messy, noisy basement so he has leased a lil office with a conference room. These are just random pics of "Moving In" day..You can read/follow about his new business venture here http://mynoc.blogspot.com/ I'm so Proud of him! It's hard to get a business off of the ground in this economy but one step at a time and He'll do it. He is still working full time and starting this part time for now. Special Note: The wiring mess is NOT DH's!

Whatcha Working on Wednesday

This week I've been busy getting a box ready for my Sister in FL, She wanted her Twilight books back (BOO~WWOO) and some lil Americana items that I had and couldn't seem to find a happy home for them, She has wanted to start decorating in Americana theme for some time now so I'm helping her out. She also wanted me to Stitch up 2 darling lil pillows for her lil girls so of course I jumped at the chance! I decided not to stain these as the girls will be playing and sleeping with them. I Stitched up the 2 pillows and left them Simple and Sweet, no matter what bed comforters they have they will look Darling sitting on top!

This week has been busy fun getting that done and hitting some stores to browse, not sure what I'm looking for but I want something new and Springy..just haven't found it yet. Might hit up Goodwill later today since I have lil guy home with me and the 2 girls are in school.
Would you believe that it's going to be almost 70 here today! YAY!! Of course the girls wanted to wear dresses and so we had to go thru the closets for new sizes, Yep, they have grown taller and are now in need of the next size..WOW..All 3 are in the next size...Hopefully I can find some good garage sales around here!!

Enjoy your Wednesday, I know I will!

I have been reading this book and picking up some great tips, it's nice to grab new ideas and refresh the old. I admit that I struggle with keeping up a happy attitude throughout the day, I'm hoping to work on this and this book has shown me where to start.

Do you struggle throughout the day? Any tips you'd like to share with me, have you read a book dealing with this?

A Blog Award and A Scary Mole

Many Thanks goes over to Gigi at http://happilyeverafter2002.blogspot.com/
She awarded me and I'm so happy to meet a new Bloggy Friend! As Gigi requested, I will share this reward with blogs that show sweetness, thoughtfulness, and kindness. It will take me a day or 2 to pass this on, many of you have stopped accepting blog awards. If you still accept them Please take this award with my Blessings!

Today I had to take my oldest DD (10) to the DR's for a mole on her back, it has been getting larger as she grows each year, she was born with it but with constant hair brushing and with Bras in the future it really is in a bad place. The DR is concerned with the shape of it right now, in the next couple of weeks I will need to take her to Childrens Hospital to have it removed and then they will do testing on it. It sounds like an easy procedure and I don't want to "borrow" trouble by thinking of "What-ifs". We will just have to see how it turns out.

I really haven't done any crafting lately and have been dealing with colds and enjoying the nice temps here...I have cleaned up my garden and started my spring cleaning.

Hope ya'll are enjoying your Wednesday!

Book Worm Friday

In Multiple Blessings, Kate Gosselin shares the gripping details of her rollercoaster ride of emotional highs and lows when she discovered she and her husband, Jon, would be expecting sextuplets while still basking in the light of their twin girls' toddlerhood. Strongly encouraged to consider selective reduction for the sake of both mother and babies, she and Jon instead decided to accept the extreme challenge God had handed them. After suffering the long and winding road of infertility, the young couple felt stressed but blessed as they fought valiantly to help their babies survive the fight for their lives. Kate reveals excerpts from her private journal as she describes the daily struggle to carry the babies for thirty weeks. In addition to their uphill medical battle, the family suffered many emotional setbacks such as the loss of Jon's job, forcing the pair to look to God as their sole provider and sustainer of life.

After the miraculous birth, the couple coped with months of neonatal intensive care for their newborns as well as Kate's physical recovery from such complete and prolonged bed rest. Later as the entire family of ten finally arrived home reeling with exhaustion, they still managed to feed, bathe, clothe, and monitor the health of their fragile infants as a steady parade of necessary and helpful volunteers turned their home and family life into a public arena.

The young family lived moment to moment at first, not knowing what each new day would bring and how they would survive on such depleted sleep, money, and emotional reserves. However, as the months progressed, they grew into the next stage of development, proudly letting go of yesterday and looking forward to a brighter and ever-changing tomorrow. Their small home was soon filled to capacity with six cribs, six bouncy seats, several changing tables, never-ending piles of laundry, tubs of colorful toys, stacks of diapers, cartons of formula, rows and rows of bottles, bibs and pacifiers, two triplet strollers, six car seats, and so on. Yes, life was hectic and cramped, but with each major milestone Jon and Kate rejoiced at the miracles that unfolded around them. The crew of six growing babies along with their proud big sisters, Madelyn and Cara, did their part to fill those rooms with squawking, squealing, laughing, and of course, a healthy dose of crying. Kate and Jon eventually came out of the fog of the first precarious two years feeling eternally grateful for the love and support of family, friends, community, and indeed a nation. More important, they felt the ever present hand of a faithful God upholding them and giving them just enough strength and courage to take one day at a time.

I have finished this book and will be adding it to my Bookshelf blog later on today, if your interested before I get it listed please e-mail me.

I love watching the show and am just amazed at how she does it, some days I struggle and I have only 3! Some things about Kate I really couldn't understand and this book has helped me understand her Faith and family values. I still don't understand why she acts the way she does with her husband John but I do understand that you never know what goes on behind closed doors and when the camera is off. I hope that the show is on for many more years as even my girls love to watch it.
