Today was National Day of Prayer and the President of the United States did NOT participate.

How do you feel about this?

I'm saddened today, We need to pray about our nation tonight.

Hi Heather, my hubby and I were just discussing this. He feels it is a real slam (insult) to Christians. I am saddened...by what it suggests for our future...if we're not important...then we have no say.
blessings,
Debbie
PS I enjoy your blog!

Heather,

I am both saddened and angry about this. My husband and I, and my parents and I both have discussed this as well. I think this made a huge statement about him and it's not good! The Bible says you'll be known by your fruit.

I can't let the day pass without posting this on my blog as well. I commend you for posting this. I admire you!

Have a great evening, Heather! We're praying here!

Hi Heather,

This is very sad for our nation. The leader of our country could not allow this to be a public event as it has been in the past. Unfortunately, I think it is a sign of our times and a fulfillment of the bible. I'm sure they felt it would not be a good photo opportunity or something. I guess they do not realize that our founding fathers established our great country as "One Nation Under GOD".

Blessings to you....
