Refreshing the Corners

This weekend I Refreshed the corners in our very small Kitchen.

I deep cleaned and dusted..I re-arranged and am Happy with the new look.

I have a running wish list of decor items I would Love to find.

Canning Jars in the Bathroom

I have seen many people use Canning jars at the kitchen table to hold silverware but with 3 very active young kids, it ain't happening over here...LOL

While thinking one day during a very boring break at work I thought of this use for the 4 Canning jars I have been able to collect so far.. And with some help from Wal-Mart....

I found this canning jar holder on Clearance at my Wal-Mart for less than $10.00! I have just about everything I may need within easy reach.

Sunday Cake

Every Sunday I am going to try a new cake recipe.

1 - 16 oz Angel Food cake mix
1- 20 oz can Crushed Pineapple

Heat oven to 350

(Make sure you spray the pan with a non stick spray as it Will stick)

Mix can (including juice) with cake mix

Pour into a 9/13 pan
bake for about 25 mins. or until golden brown on top

It smells so Good in my kitchen this evening!
