Evergreen Plantation in Dining Room

Hello! How was your Labor Day?

We had a great holiday, my Mother visited and we celebrated her birthday. It's always a fun visit when she can make it, little shopping and good food!

Friday my Husband had the day off and surprised me with a nice purchase. Kirklands had a wonderful sale going on and we took advantage (Thanks to my Husband). We have been eyeing this large framed picture of the Evergreen Plantation for many months. We were able to bring it home safely which was fun trying to get it in husband's car. Husband even was able to hang it with very little trouble, surprising since it is quite large. I have loved this picture of the Evergreen Plantation in Louisiana for a long time, I highly suggest you google the name and browse through the many pictures of this beautiful place.  It matches our buffet from Havertys perfectly and for the holidays I'll decorate it simply so as not to take away from the gorgeousness of it.
I have also attached a video sharing our Kirklands haul.

Enjoy!

New Living Room Tour | Bare Bones

This is our new Leather Living Room set, We Love it!
The end tables and coffee tables are a tad too plain for my liking but I'm hoping with some accent pieces they will look better.

We found this tall lamp at Bealls Outlet. I love that the lampshade matches perfectly. We walked into the store right before closing just on a lurk and they had just put the lamp out on the floor, It was meant to be!

I added the cream color throw blanket and the Kirkland's vase. The vase has a scroll design that mimics the designs on the lamps. Maybe some tall stalks will be added to the vase?

I'm thinking a large area rug? This living room is larger than our last, which we love!

I'll be back with the newly decorated space with the missing accent pieces! Have any ideas? Please share with me!

From Country to Tuscan?

Going from Country to Tuscan/French Country?

Can it be done?
Bought this for $10.00 from a local lady. No scratches and glass frame!

Bought this wrought iron/glass table from a local lady for $40.00, not a blemish on it!

For years now I've decorated in Americana/Farmhouse but since moving to FL I've felt out of sorts with our decorations.

Slowly we will be replacing our decorations with French Country/Tuscan. Richard is liking the idea and I feel like my decorating mojo is back!

So if you decorate in this look, Please share what Magazines or books should I start browsing thru to grasp a better concept of it all!

I did happen to pop into a Kirklands on Sunday and I am in Love with that store, Where have I been??!!

I will be back soon with an new Kitchen tour!
