Kitchen Vignette With Stitches

I wanted to spruce up this half wall in our Kitchen for some time now. The ledge is giving me trouble, I'm not happy with anything I've set on it so far. 

While drinking my cup of coffee this morning I was staring at it and an idea was formed. I love my Coffee!!

The candle sticks were purchased at a garage sale, vanilla scented votives are from Wal-Mart. The wall hanging was stitched by my Mother about 7 years ago. 

The plant stand was mailed to me in exchange for a review about 8 years ago and has held up well over time. The plant is a ponytail palm we bought from Wal-Mart 4 years ago. I've kept it alive so far!

Weightloss Journey | Month 2

So for 2 months I've been getting pretty real about my weight...with my Husbands recent health diagnosis of Diabetes and Celiac disease, if he doesn't want to be on a few meds then he has to make some lifestyle changes. I'm supporting him the best I can!!

First purchase are these Excercise clothes- from WalMart

So far I've lost...

You'll have to watch to find out!

I'm so proud of my Husband for making such strides in this rough diagnosis and turning it around!

January Candle Haul

I found the last 3 candles from their Fall scents line at my local Wal-Mart. I was looking for their Peppermint candle that I really enjoyed but it was sold out. 

I did sniff the new Spring candles but we just aren't feeling Spring yet.

Quick Organizational Projects in time for Summer

This wall by our back door is NOT working. I have tried with the basket but the shoes Never end up in the basket for some reason. 

So while shopping at WalMart I found this 2-tier Expandable Shoe Rack. 

Hopefully it will be the start of some nicely organized kids this Summer.

Relaxing Sunday!

Sons Lego Minecraft Dude. He built it today. 

Did you Relax today? I did nothing important, fast trip to Wal-Mart with the Hubby/kids then home for a nice nap and now finishing up some laundry to get Hubby out the door tomorrow. The kids have Monday off for a Teacher Duty Work Day. 

Canning Jars in the Bathroom

I have seen many people use Canning jars at the kitchen table to hold silverware but with 3 very active young kids, it ain't happening over here...LOL

While thinking one day during a very boring break at work I thought of this use for the 4 Canning jars I have been able to collect so far.. And with some help from Wal-Mart....

I found this canning jar holder on Clearance at my Wal-Mart for less than $10.00! I have just about everything I may need within easy reach.
