Organization Week 3~ Pantry

The Pantry has always been the hardest for me to organize and make it look nice since you can see it from our kitchen and livingroom.

Is it silly that I want it to look Cozy too?

After finishing in the Pantry, it was "National Chocolate Cake Day" and I was able to find all of the ingredients so I baked this

It tasted so Good and didn't last the week!

If you have any ideas on how to improve my pantry or know of any new Gooseberry patch books that are out now, Please let me know!

Here is another tour of my finished newly organized Pantry, hope you enjoy!

Purging Plastics...

We are purging our Plastics for better Health.

Getting rid of these. Most are old, stained from many uses and probably breaking down and leaching chemicals into our food with each use.

We are replacing plastic with Glass!
These have received great reviews and was on sale on WOOT.com last week. I bought 2 sets, more than enough for us but with the kids loading/unloading the dishwasher I definetly wanted to make sure we had plenty.

Next we will be purchasing new Stainless Steel Pots and Pans. Do you have any recommendations on sets?

Why you ask are we dong this? Cancer is on the rise and we are taking precautions, too many of our Family and Friends have been touched by Cancer.

Fall Kitchen Vignette

Today I was cleaning the kitchen when inspiration struck and I just had to play around with this corner that I was not pleased with.
I like how it's turned out so far

I bought the new Better Homes and Gardens 2014 candle in the Golden Maple Waffles. The scent throw is great cold and during burning it's even stronger which allows us to smell it in the Livingroom!
I had to add my little Hen!

Hope y'all are having a relaxing weekend!

Fall in the Kitchen

Sadly it seems that we've lost a box of my Fall decorations in our move so I'm forced to decorate simply this year. I started this morning with our new Kitchen and had to stop because our little guy is sick with a high fever and stayed home from school, we are snuggling on the couch while Tylonel starts to work.
I'm still loving my hand-made Scarecrow that I made a few years ago in Ohio. He doesn't look to worn from all the moves he's made!

I like how this grouping is going to look together, I just need to find some Sunflowers at my local grocery store. The candle is "Spiced Pumpkin Pie" from Better Homes and Gardens this year.

I'm loving my White table scape this year. The white Pumpkins are from Target and we like to fill them with candy for Halloween.

I also have the large white Pumpkin from Target on our Breakfast bar area.

I will share our living room with you soon as I can, depending on who else gets sick now, ain't it always like this when School starts?
