Sunday Daydreams

A nice road bike so I  can keep up with Hubby. I just finished riding 20 miles (slowly but I'm getting faster)

The new Kristen Coach bag, just because I love Coach..haha..

Okay, so every Sunday I'm going to share with you a couple of my Wants, just for fun.

I'm off to the grocery store with my Husband, it was a deal that if I finished 20 miles with him this morning he would go grocery shopping with me...He HATES grocery shopping!

An Amish Love~ Book Review

Two of today's most popular genres--Romance and Amish fiction--together in one volume.
"Healing Hearts" by Beth Wiseman: Levina Lapp and her husband Naaman are alone for the first time in 30 years. When Naaman left to visit cousins in Ohio, Levina wasn't expecting him to be gone a year. Now that he's back, will they be able to move beyond this estrangement and fall in love again?
"What the Heart Sees" by Kathleen Fuller: A tragic accident rocks a peaceful Amish community, leaving Ellie Chupp blinded and Christopher Bender's future shattered. But they find love and forgiveness in a place they least expect.
"A Marriage of the Heart" by Kelly Long: Rachel Yoder is tired of her Amish lifestyle and her domineering father's ways. When handsome Joseph Lambert comes back from the Englisch, she lies to force a marriage of convenience, providing the perfect means to escape her father's rule. But Rachel never imagined she'd fall in love with Joseph so quickly or irrevocably.

I enjoyed reading about the simple things in life..Amish dating, cooking, cleaning, going to Church every Sunday. This was an easy story line to follow as all 3 stories connected in some way by a character or 2. In each story there was a small problem or mystery to be solved and only in the Amish way can it be solved. I think I'll always enjoy reading and learning about the Amish!

This book was given to me by BookSneeze to Review, all opinions are my own.

Last day of School and a 4H Meeting Pup Training

So the last day of school has come and gone, Crystal had her 4th grade clap out, the 4th graders walked the school and the parents clapped when they exited the school for the last time. Next year it's middle school for her! Both Abigail and Crystal received good grades are moving up, we are so proud of them!

So now that Summer is here we have a full schedule, Braces for Crystal and a week at Grandma's for Horse camp and tons of 4H meetings, Abigail gets to go to Superkids camp again this year. I have to get the lil guy ready for kindergarten next year too!

Here is Crystal and Coffee at the fairgrounds doing some groundwork on cones, alot of laughs involved here..lol..Coffee is about 2 but still pretty much a puppy and with the horses and birds she was very interested in looking around and not learning! Crystal hopes to show her in fair this year.

I have a feeling that this Summer will fly by, I hope to enjoy some sun and good reading and laughing with the Loves in my life!
So that's what I'm doing here, What are you doing this Summer?

A Warm Monday

Woke up this morning to Sunshine, temps in the 60s..We didn't need to wear a jacket at all today. Hubby stayed home and we worked in the barn, it was damp in there from the melting snow runoff. You know whoever thought of Stall Mats, I could kiss them..LOL..Hoss's stall was so dry and outside was a soupy mess. We had a nice relaxing weekend, my sis and her hubby watched the kids (first time ever) so that we could run and have ourselves a mini vaca. We stayed in a hotel, ate lotsa food and watched the movie "I am Legend"...Hubby really liked it but it wasn't for me, I have heard that it wasn't at all like the book. So then we came home to a messy house and happy kids and a frazzled Sis, Since she has lived out of state for so long she hasn't really been around my little guy much and boy He was pushing her buttons! I told her that we'd have to do this more often so that she can have practice when her 2nd baby is here! HAHAHAHAHAH Love ya Jenn!
So now my fingers are begging for a new stitchery and I've been so busy trying to collect books, I need something easy to do late at night. Do any of you out in Blogger Land now of an easy stitchery?
