A Surprise House Guest

So while Hubby was in Radio Shack, We ran into Pet Land where we found a lonely caged cat about 7 months old, he was a Return and the store could not re-sale him, therefore he was FREE!!

As to why he was a Return no one was sure, he has his shots and his Rabies tag already, Why spend so much money on a pet store cat and pay for shots/rabies tag and then Return him?

I was talked into bringing him home.

We named him Regete, french for Reject

He isn't getting along with our dogs as of yet but loves all 3 kids and sleeps next to me on the couch during the day.

The dogs and he have to find common ground soon!

RIP Mr. Wheeler

Today we lost our Fav. Wheeler kitty to a respiratory infection, the meds the vet gave us were not touching it. 

We will miss you Mr. Wheeler.

RIP~ Fluffy the Barn Cat

What a sad start to a otherwise beautiful day, this morning the girls walked outside for the bus at the end of the driveway to be told by our next door neighbor boy that our fav. barn cat had been hit by a car..Fluffy adopted us about a year 1/2 ago and has been at our door just about every day for dinner in the laundry room and a little nap before heading back out. Tomorrow we will lay her to rest.

The girls are very upset so today I'm off to surprise them at lunch with MCD's at school.

I love living out in the country but I'm starting to hate that road, people drive way to fast for my liking.

It's Not Normal!!

I was watching "The Starter Wife" last night after the kids went to bed, had wheeler (cat) curled up in my lap and Cocoa (dog) laying at my feet..I walked into the kitchen to grab something and this is what I found when I came back!! Cocoa knows not to get on the couch..I snapped the pic and told her down..she gave me those poor puppy eyes...never mind that we have a huge dog bed for her behind the couch..lol..Wheeler was actually purring too..How funny!


I won a Blog give-away and I got these cute wood blocks in my mail on Thursday! Now they sit on my counter next to A's pumpkin that she got from a school field trip! Thank You so much!

I stayed up way to late last night, DH is in Michigan till Sunday evening visiting his mom and grabbing books for my future bookstore. Very easy weekend, the kids and I will go the the park and just hang outside.

Whatcha Working on Wednesday

So today is a nice day outside, only going to be around 75! I'm thinking a nice day for the park with the lil guy since both girls are in school today. This will be a short post cuse I wanna surprise him :)I'm finishing this Willow Tree pillow up for a swap with Kimberly from http://mybrownbagstudio.blogspot.com/...I had put it down unfinished to do a special order and now I have a reason to finish it! I hope you like it Kimberly :)
So this is my DH's office today, he has the option of working from home on some days since he is the Lead Computer Network Engineer at work...Yes, I'm bragging! He does work hard!!

And this is Church....he looks like that cat from the Stephen King Movie...I can't remember the name now...Anyone know it? Church thinks that he lives here and we come out to visit him..LOL..One of my many barn cats.

So I guess the only thing I'm working on today is my Stitchery..LOL..
