Spring Break 2014

So Spring Break 2014 has started with a trip to our local Barnes and Nobles where we let the kids pick out 1 new book to start reading.

After the bookstore we drove over to Melbourne Beach for some quick beach time even though we were not really dressed for the beach, sometimes ya just have to go with the flow and have Fun!

The Nerf Rebelle

We were one of a many that was chosen to host the Nerf Rebelle House Party!

All of this came via UPS and OMGOSH the kids are so excited! We are sending out invites for a little friends get together. Richard will print out some fun and unique targets and we will see which side wins!

The party will be on the 29th and I'll of course take pictures and a quick video.

We want to Thank House Party and Nerf Rebelle for giving us this box of Fun!

A Surprise House Guest

So while Hubby was in Radio Shack, We ran into Pet Land where we found a lonely caged cat about 7 months old, he was a Return and the store could not re-sale him, therefore he was FREE!!

As to why he was a Return no one was sure, he has his shots and his Rabies tag already, Why spend so much money on a pet store cat and pay for shots/rabies tag and then Return him?

I was talked into bringing him home.

We named him Regete, french for Reject

He isn't getting along with our dogs as of yet but loves all 3 kids and sleeps next to me on the couch during the day.

The dogs and he have to find common ground soon!

Lonely Library Bag....

This Library bag has been packed away since we moved from OH, It's stitched on both sides and has Lady Bug buttons on both sides as well, hand-stitched by me.

Lake Woodruff Wildlife Refuge Day Trip

Yesterday we met my Sister and her family out at DeLand's Lake Woodruff Wild life Refuge where we walked for about 2 hours.

We saw a tiny snake that my Sister was brave enough to hold but I passed on..lol..

We did see a 5 ft alligator that was sunning itself across the bank and he kept an watchful eye on us but never moved, Thank Goodness..lol   The above pic is NOT the guy we saw though, he is from the webpage.

You can read more about the Wildlife Refuge below or google it. We plan on going back next weekend, it's free to park/walk and the kids love to see what pops around every corner.

The Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge is part of the United States National Wildlife Refuge System, located in north central Florida, twenty-five miles west of Daytona Beach, off U.S. Highway 17 in DeLeon Springs.

The Lake Woodruff Wilderness Area is part of the refuge, and consists of 1,066 acres (4.31 km²) or 4.9% of its total area. It lies along the western boundary, between Honey Creek and the St. Johns River. On the river's other side is the Alexander Springs Wilderness Area.

Here is a pic from our Disney trip and a rather long (about 7 mins) video of the kids on some rides. It's a Small World was my Fav. and to see the younger 2 reactions and looks on their faces is just priceless!!

We had so much fun and the kids are STILL talking about it!!

We Have Been To See....

Right now we are so tired and watching Beauty and the Beast while we get ready for bed but It has been such a Wonderful day!

Back to School Shopping

So School has started and let me tell you shopping for 3 kids is killer on the wallet!

We went to Payless while their store was BOGO and it still cost us $75.00...

middle girls choice..the toes light up and they look so cute!

little guy picked these Cars shoes and they also light up...so cute when he runs!

oldest girl picked these..She is a size Women's 8 already!! Love these and I might have to get a pair myself!



I did some shopping for myself at CVS and bought the Revlon "Gray Suede" which is a very neutral color

Next we have to shop for some Fall clothes for oldest as she doesn't have to wear a uniform like the little ones.

So what Fav. brands of Nail Polish do you buy? Any great Fall colors out there?
