Whatcha Working on Wednesday

This week I've been busy getting a box ready for my Sister in FL, She wanted her Twilight books back (BOO~WWOO) and some lil Americana items that I had and couldn't seem to find a happy home for them, She has wanted to start decorating in Americana theme for some time now so I'm helping her out. She also wanted me to Stitch up 2 darling lil pillows for her lil girls so of course I jumped at the chance! I decided not to stain these as the girls will be playing and sleeping with them. I Stitched up the 2 pillows and left them Simple and Sweet, no matter what bed comforters they have they will look Darling sitting on top!



This week has been busy fun getting that done and hitting some stores to browse, not sure what I'm looking for but I want something new and Springy..just haven't found it yet. Might hit up Goodwill later today since I have lil guy home with me and the 2 girls are in school.
Would you believe that it's going to be almost 70 here today! YAY!! Of course the girls wanted to wear dresses and so we had to go thru the closets for new sizes, Yep, they have grown taller and are now in need of the next size..WOW..All 3 are in the next size...Hopefully I can find some good garage sales around here!!

Grand Opening of "All The Sisters" in Bremen OH

Today was the second day of the grand opening for "All The Sisters", a cute lil shop that carries hand dyed fibers, soy candles, Knitted goods and all sorts of yummy rooster collectibles. I am able to consign my prim pillows in there as well. If your ever in the area drop by and say "HI", the coffee is always hot! They will be offering some great monthly classes..new classes are starting in March.

I'm working on these stitchery pillows for my sister's 2 little girls, the back will be a cute pink princess theme with Cinderella. I'm not sure if I will stain these because they are for little girls. Would You stain them?




I have finally began the last book! This looks like it will be a good one, I didn't care to much for the 3rd book, can't pinpoint why though.


This week has really gone by fast, Tomorrow is my girls 10th birthday...I have seen lots of these around Blogville! We are going to Gameworks at Easton to play games and I'll take the lil flash with me!

Whatcha Working On Wed.

Morning All, Blogger is giving me fits this morning, I had some more pics to share but I can't upload them for some reason.

I have joined a Coupon Club here in my town and have received 3 envelopes packed with good coupons and most of them I use, I have went thru the envelopes and am ready to pass these on to the next person now but since we are slow starting up, there is no one to ship these too, only the 2 of us so far.

We have finished painting Abigails dresser and it's now in her room, did take a pic and will share later..It is white with purple knobs, We need to run out to Wal-Mart later and grab about 4 more and paint them but for now she can at least open her dresser. Her desk which we bought at a garage sale is also on the list to get painted to match her dresser..

Remember I said we ALMOST had a fire here Sunday morning and the whole house was covered in heavy smoke? Well, the heating guys came out to look at it, the same ones that put in our new A/C last summer. They openly admitted to DH that something was wired wrong and something on our new A/C is fried too...We are beyond upset...They came out on Monday, told DH that they were coming back out on Tues. and they didn't show or call!! DH took today off again to call them and talk to the manager...We are using 2 space heaters in the house and it was so COLD last night!

Here is a question, because of the smoke..my fabric stinks...I had 2 orders to send off and now the pillows stink..What do I do? Is there a way to remove the smell or e-mail the ladies and tell them that I have to re-do their order? I'm so upset about this,, It's a heavy smoke/chemical smell.

Whatcha Working on Wednesday

It's Wednesday already, WOW this week is dragging for us, guess it's cuse our AC still is not working! Only time anyone can get out here is Thurs. DH will look at it tonight but not sure what he can do, It's trying to blow air but it's not cold at all. It's real bad though cuse DH and DD both have allergies and that's why we run it all summer.

So, what have I been working on? I have finished the Flag pillow, all stitched up and I'm not so happy with how I closed it but everyone else says that it's perfect...Must be me.

I have also just finished a pillow for DD, her room is all about Horses. I was out shopping with my Mom and found this cute vintage Boot pin and added it to her pillow. I have seen these cute wooden signs with the "Cowgirl Up" so I personilized it.


DD's pillow, the back is also blue. I did tea stain this and you can see some of the lines on the pillow.

WOW, Been Busy!

Since I've opened my Etsy shop I've come across some very nice ppl and I've been so busy in the crafting room. I have a project I'm working on with Baling Wire and hope to show ya'll a pic later.
I can't believe Jan. is gone already!!

I hope Feb. will be my month to Shine on Etsy.com and ppl will notice my pillows.
