I thought I would try something new this morning while tank lays on the couch. We just got back from the DR's, he has an ear infection and has to stay home for 2 days on meds. Poor guy is running a fever and watching G.I. Joe on Netflixs.
As I look outside my window:::
I am sitting here at our kitchen table looking out the sliding doors and watching about 25-35 robins playing in our backyard, they just appeared this weekend. I'm listening to my wind-chime and thinking I need to replace it since it broke in the storm this past weekend.
Right now I am:::
drinking my Skinny Salted Caramel coffee from 7-11 that I got while gassing up to take Tank to the DR's this morning.
Thinking and pondering:::
I'm thinking about how our 3 kids are doing in school right now and what we can do to make it easier on them, we are stumped as to why this year is so hard for our oldest Crystal. Poor girl is struggling so much, I'm calling around for Tutors later today.
On my bedside table:::
I'm reading the Book Thief and have really begun to enjoy it, it was slow to me in the beginning.
2 random magazines that came in the mail on Saturday.
On my tv tonight:::
I really haven't watched anything here in the past few days other that Youtube, my little obsession as of late.
Listening to:::
The sounds of G.I Joe in the living room, brings back memories of when I'd watch it before school when I was little.
On the menu for this week:::
We are having pork tenderloin tonight with mixed veggies but so far that is all I have decided on, I'm in a cooking slump.
On my to do list:::
Pick up Tanks meds
take Abby to Tutoring after school
pick up Crystal from school late
call about Abby's braces
Happening this week:::
Lots of laundry and making sure Tank is feeling better enough to go back to school on Wed.
Take car in so they can put my trunk handle back on tight.
What I am sewing, crocheting, knitting or creating:::
Sadly I haven't stitched anything in a very long time, life has just gotten away from us in a bad way. I need to work on this.
My simple pleasure:::
Grabbing my first cup of coffee out of my new Keurig, I love this Keurig!!
Lesson learned the past week:::
No matter how bad we think we have it at this moment, our worst moments may be someones else's good days.
Looking around the house:::
I see a huge mess that I need to work on around my little boy with an earache today. With 2 of Crystal's friends staying all weekend with us my house is a mess.
From the camera:::
nothing as of yet
Prayer List:::
My Husband as he tries to deal with the stress of work
Crystal as she battles 8th grade, her grades are so bad

Tough Decisions...House Hunting
So our lease here is up in August and we are very much ready to move.
Our search is taking some time because we really want to keep our 3 kids in the same schools since all 3 are doing FAB!!!
House 1:
This is an older pic, there are houses built on either side today. This is in a Subdivision.
We took the kids to look inside last night and almost signed a lease on it, then we went out to dinner and the kids told us they hated it, it was just okay of an house.
I have to be honest too...as we were waiting for the realtor to show up I was getting less and less excited to live in a Subdivision again, I didn't get that "WOW" feeling about this house.
I think for me I have lost that decorating "Mojo" since leaving our house in OH.
The searching goes on....

New Kitchen Table Find for Cheap
We were in need of a new kitchen table since our old one was getting too unsteady with 3 kids, I loved it..It is a Duncan Pfaff with 4 matching chairs, quite the find!
Here is the only picture I could find while sitting here. This is a fun set-up during my son's Birthday Party a few years ago while we lived in town.
and.....
Here is our new to us find...only $140.00 and local pick-up. Solid oak, honey stained, with the leaf folding into the table for easy storage with 4 matching chairs! I have to use 2 of our chairs for the end of the table until I can find 2 end chairs that match.

Have you watched this new show on HGTV? I guess it's just new to me but I LOVE it!! I love how she decorates and I have written down so many great ideas for our house here...It's a rental but many of the ideas on her show I can still do. I'm not sure what you would say her decorating is, French Country..Traditional...It's just plan Beautiful...(So I read her Bio and should have read it first..lol)
I'm excited to see something that interests me back on HGTV...for awhile there I found HGTV to be full of same-same shows!
Her show is on Sat. nights at 10:30...I'm DVRing it cuse around here I never know what the Weekend is going to be like.
Enjoy your Weekend Ya'll!

My Gardens and House
Thought I'd share a few pics of my gardens, I didn't have to do anything ...Everything was here when we moved in but last year I didn't see anything blooming so this Spring has brought many a surprise to us!
My roses by the front stairs, see that greenage growing over the stairs...Poison Ivy!! That's why I'm afraid to weed around here! Anyone know how to remove it and use some sort of control spray...Do they even have that stuff??
My garden, It's also riddled with poison ivy so I'm leaving it be for now but it's so pretty!!
Another view, see that weeded patch? The only spot with no poison ivy!
This is the front of the house, We are working on Curb appeal but really it's not needed because we have huge hedges blocking the view from the road. I love my bay window!
