Bittersweet Or Not?

It is an overgrown bush on the side of my garage, has very small thorns on the branches...My MIL was over today and said that it was Bittersweet but I thought bittersweet was like a wild vine. Any of you Ladies know? If not bittersweet then what?

I don't know what it is but it would look great in your home with your fall decor! I wish I had some!

NOT - sorry! You don't see the orange until the outside capsule opens - either when you cut it, or it is MUCH later in the year. Did you see my posy where I showed it growing? It's right before the post of all the picks around my house. It shows how it looks unopened. I think anonymous is correct. I don't think that will last cut unless it is on water but you have enough to try!!

I think it is called "beauty bush." I think bittersweet is more vine-like, but I have never seen the real thing, so I'm not 100% sure.

My daddy has a big boot like that on his porch. My flowers beds are in need of some help too, the summer heat stopped me from caring! LOL
Thanks for posting my giveaway!
